What is a mini-session? Mini-sessions are heavily discounted sessions that take place only occasionally and only at predetermined dates, times, and locations. Please see this video for a more in-depth explanation.
Do you photograph weddings? No, I do not photograph weddings, but I absolutely do and adore to photograph elopements. Unsure if your event qualifies as an elopement? Please watch this video.
When am I required to pay for my session? 50% of your payment is a non-refundable retainer which is required up front to save the date for your session; the remaining balance is due the day of the shoot. Mini-sessions are required to be paid in full up front, this payment is non-refundable.
How can I pay for my session? Retainers are paid online via any major credit or debit card while reserving your session date. The remaining balance should be paid via cash, check, Venmo or Apple Pay at the time of your session.
What is this discount I am seeing for multiple sessions? I offer my clients 15% off each session when multiple session retainers are submitted simultaneously. For example: maternity, newborn and 6 months, elopement and one year anniversary, this years family session and next years, etc. Multi-session discounts do not apply to mini-sessions.
When will I receive my photos? Processing time is within 30 days of the session date. If ever I am able to finish your photos earlier, I will do so. However, 30 days weeks is the average and what you should expect/plan for. I do offer rush processing for an additional fee. This service can be added to your session when booking, find it here, in my storefront.
How will my photos be delivered? Your photos will be delivered via digital download.
Am I allowed to share my photos on social media? By all means, please do! However, you must tag and give photo credit to Leahana Byrd Photography when you do so. Also, NO FILTERS! Please and thank you!
Do you retouch your photos? Your photos will be edited and retouched before delivery. My edits include color correction, adjusting of light and shadow, etc. and will reflect the style you see in my portfolio. My retouching will be natural and subtle. If you do not wish to be retouched, please let me know at our session, BEFORE I begin post-processing.
Can I have the RAWs? Nope, no, never, absolutely not.
Do you offer a referral incentive? Yes, all clients who have already completed a session with me receive a $50 session credit if someone they referred also books a session. This credit can be applied to any future session.
